History
Mills Property Management emerged from the family legacy of H.E. Mills Construction Company, founded in 1949 by Harvey Mills. While immersed in the family construction business, CEO Mary Jo Minor spotted a gap: the need for professional management to handle the rising demand for well-maintained apartments and homes in eastern South Dakota. In 1992, Mills Property Management was incorporated, starting with 300 residential units. Today, after 30 years of growth, we manage over 4,000 units across diverse regional locations, delivering the same hands-on care that defined our origins in construction.
